Dr. John B. Hirsch
In 1936 Dr. John B. Hirsch moved to Las Vegas. after attending Dental School at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, John Hirsch joined the Army Air Force for three years. After World War II, he returned to Las Vegas with his wife and started his dental practice. He practiced for 52 years before retiring in 1993. His daughter Diane, a Dental Hygienist, and Marquette graduate, married a Navy dentist, Dr. Thomas J. Keating.
Dr. Thomas J. Keating
Dr. Thomas J. Keating attended the University of Southern California. He served with the Navy for a one year tour in Vietnam. He then moved to Las Vegas and has practiced here since 1969. Dr. Thomas J. Keating holds a Nevada State License and a California State License, and is a member of the American Dental Association, Nevada Dental Association and Southern Nevada Dental Society. He has served on the Clark County Dental Peer Review Committee and has been a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Thomas J. Keating has been trained at the renowned Las Vegas Institute specializing in cosmetic dentistry. In 2014 Dr. Thomas J. Keating retired after a long an incredible career that touched thousands of lives through his compassionate touch and amazing dental work. He now has plenty of time to spend with his wife Diane and their eight children and 23 grandchildren.
Dr. Thomas P. Keating
Their son, Dr. Thomas P. Keating, is a 2001 graduate of Creighton University Dental School. Dr. Thomas P. Keating holds a Nevada State License, a Nebraska State License and is a Member of the American Dental Association, Nevada Dental Association, and the Southern Nevada Dental Society. Dr. Keating and his wife Jennifer, are proud parents of four children, who attend the same grade school and high school that he did as a child here in Las Vegas. His oldest son Tommy is currently at Creighton University studying to become a dentist. Dr. Keating enjoys giving back to the community and has been a member of the St. Viator school board, the St. Anthony of Padua school board, and has been an assistant den leader for his boys cub scout troops. Dr. Keating is the second oldest of eight children and was born in Las Vegas and is a Bishop Gorman graduate. He enjoys anything involving his family, the outdoors, drawing and on most Sundays you will find him at his parents house enjoying their traditional Sunday dinners with his other brothers and sisters and the majority of the Keating clan and its 41 members and counting…
